Jill Cromartie
Board Member
Jill Cromartie brings decades of multifaceted experience to the real estate and affordable housing sectors, with proven expertise across the full real estate lifecycle from acquisition and due diligence to asset management and strategic dispositions. She is particularly skilled in navigating complex government funding programs, including the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), HOME Investment Partnerships Program, and the National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF).
In her consulting practice, Jill provides high impact advisory services in asset management, relocation, and LIHTC development, supporting clients through pre-development, compliance, and long term portfolio strategy. Her work is grounded in both technical rigor and a deep commitment to community driven development.
A certified Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Jill contributes to the industry beyond her client work. She serves on the HCCP Board of Governors, CAHEC Management Board of Directors, and is a member of the national advisory panel for the Women’s Affordable Housing Network, where she helps shape the future of the field through mentorship, advocacy, and thought leadership.

Board Member
Winning ‘Best Aunt of the Year’ remains a goal, judged by the only panel that truly matters: beloved nieces and nephews. Competition is fierce, standards are high, and strategic snack distribution, especially M&Ms, may or may not play a role (please don’t tell the brothers and sisters in love).
At home, two English bulldogs, Dublin and Guinness, remain far less impressed. They believe the spoiling they deserve is consistently underdelivered, despite significant evidence to the contrary. Their famously sad expressions are simply part of a long running campaign for extra treats, attention, and upgrades to an already luxurious lifestyle.
I serve as President & CEO of WAHN, a women led 501(c)(3) that welcomes the support of allies and advances women’s leadership in the affordable housing industry through meaningful connections, targeted education, and a strong commitment to workplace equity. WAHN builds community, opens doors, and creates opportunity through chapters across the country, helping grow the future talent pipeline for affordable housing.
My career was built in public accounting before leading WAHN full-time, including time at PricewaterhouseCoopers and other national firms. I later served as a Tax Partner specializing in affordable housing, real estate taxation, and nonprofit organizations. In December 2022, I stepped away from public accounting to focus fully on WAHN as its growth and impact accelerated, a decision that remains one of the best of my career.
Born in Pennsylvania, lived in Connecticut, raised mostly in Charlotte, and based in the Atlanta metropolitan area since 2013, with extended family rooted largely in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. I care deeply about expanding opportunity, creating access, and building communities where people can thrive. I’m grateful that life, career opportunities, and a highly extroverted spirit have allowed me to travel widely, build meaningful relationships across the country, and meet incredible people around the world. A close connection to family has also shaped life’s greatest blessings, including an incredible husband, lifelong friends, and some of the best people anyone could hope to know.

Amelia Sheridan
Board Member
Amelia Sheridan is an attorney, business owner, Navy veteran, and community advocate who is passionate about using her professional experience to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Through her legal practice, she has built a career centered on advocacy, problem solving, and helping business, individuals and families navigate important and often life changing matters.
Beyond her professional work, Amelia believes strongly in service, community involvement, and creating opportunities for others to thrive. As a board member, she brings a thoughtful perspective, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to advancing the organization’s mission with integrity and purpose.
Amelia is especially passionate about strengthening families, empowering the next generation, and contributing to initiatives that create lasting positive change in the community. She considers it an honor to serve alongside fellow board members and community leaders who share a commitment to meaningful service.
